Electricity is perhaps the only more significant part of the cost, which is more than covered by other “savings”

The annual property tax is just a penny, paying 300 liras (~15 euros) per year for a 100-meter apartment is just a gift.
At the same time, there are no progressive scales or by the number of prescribed ones.
Water costs about 6-10 euros per month and splash as much as you want.
But electricity compensates for all these joys.
Although there is a possibility of savings here, taking into account the hours of consumption:
If you don’t deny yourself anything in very hot or very cold months and turn on air conditioners for 8 hours at night, then in the end you get not so much – 180 lira or 20 euros per month for air conditioning. Recalculate for their number in the house and here is your monthly expense. In the off-season, 6-8 months a year, you can not use air conditioners at all. So it’s not all bad.
Consider the average cost and consumption of the main appliances in the house according to TRNC statistics per month.

You can pay electric bills online in a special application. You can also pay in online banking automatically if you have an account with a local bank. I put money into the account and let it pay for myself so that I don’t have to worry about it when I’m away. And if no one lives, then after all, the bills will be almost zero, maybe just a couple of lira will drip for the included refrigerator.
